Ar ko atšķirstes rītdiena? (How will tomorrow be different?) explores the passing of time in a territory next to the lake Ķīšezers in Riga. The territory in question, which remains largely hidden behind a regular wall, has been used for real state, education, recreation and military purposes. For many years its uses have been transforming, leaving behind the footprint from what once was. At the time of the recording, it was mostly abandoned.

Interestingly, the closer to the lake the wilder it becomes, as if the city slowly disintegrated as one approaches the water. The force of the lake, the plants, the mushrooms, the animals, constantly reclaim those ruins for themselves, creating novel configurations in space: moss taking over rubble, tires becoming plant pots, concrete blocks becoming burrows… It seems unavoidable, however, that sooner or later some new development will arrive. Will they consider what is already in motion there? Or will they approach it as if it was a blank slate? The question is not if tomorrow will it be different, but rather how will it be different?
